Seabourn, the ultra-luxury cruise line with five intimate ships, has announced 2018 Holiday Sailings that promise guests the opportunity to travel to exotic locations and leave all the seasonal hassles at home.

For a variety of reasons, holidays don’t always live up to their promise. In fact, for many, they can be a time of great stress with all the details that need attending.

Planning a get-together with family and/or friends, away from home, allows everyone to relax and enjoy each other’s company while creating priceless shared memories. And for those who don’t have extended family, whether single or partnered, a holiday cruise allows them to escape the holiday frenzy and travel in a relaxed, sociable setting amongst kindred spirits.

When the holidays are celebrated on a cruise ship, every detail of the onboard experience (as well as shore excursions) is carefully curated by staff in a way that not only meets but also exceeds expectations.

“We’re excited about this year’s holiday offerings, which will combine a festive atmosphere, onboard events and appealing destinations that are just right for celebrating the season,” said Chris Austin, Seabourn’s senior vice president of Global Marketing & Sales in a press release.

Of course, food and spirits are central to any celebration. The gourmet dining experience on Seabourn during the holidays (enhanced through a partnership with Chef Thomas Keller of French Laundry and Per Se) offers special seasonal flourishes. Unlimited fine wines and premium spirits are always complimentary.

Depending on the interests of the group and the time available to them, five upcoming holiday itineraries are available spanning Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day. For example, cruisers can book a 7-Day Holiday Yachtsman’s Caribbean itinerary between December 22nd -December 29th that departs from Sint Maarten and get everyone home in time for New Year’s Eve or a lengthy 36-day Holiday Australian Exploration, departing from Sydney, that allows guests to both celebrate Christmas and bring in the New Year at sea.

If you’ve never been on a holiday cruise, you’ll be delighted to experience the way Seabourn ships are transformed with decorations and an abundance of holiday cheer.
