Say “hello” to a brand new boutique hotel in the Florida Keys! The Perry Hotel Key West on Stock Island opens its doors on May 1, 2017.
Tucked between the mangroves lining Shrimp Road and the Stock Island Marina (a private 220-slip marina), the 100-room hotel offers water views from the private terraces of every room, a large outdoor pool and, get this, an onsite distillery.
The Perry Hotel isn’t your typical Florida Keys hotel (you might have gathered that already from the onsite distillery). No gingerbread architecture here!
What you’ll find is a modern property with a contemporary design that embraces the working waterfront area. It will appeal to the young and the “young at heart.”
It’s not your grandmother’s style, that’s for sure…
Entering the hotel, you’ll see a towering abstract art installation designed by a local artist. The hotel will also have an artists’ studio, and and a local shop and art gallery will feature rotating art works and installations by Key West craftsmen.
Hopefully you like seafood. Because menus at the hotel’s two “boat-to-table” seafood-driven restaurants emphasize stone crab, snapper and Key West pink shrimp – one resto is an oyster bar.
What can you do at the new Perry Hotel Key West? Stand-up paddleboarding, jet skiing, fishing, snorkeling, diving, sailing and yachting. You can also enjoy wildlife tours, and even go on a high-end yacht cruise to Cuba from the hotel’s dock.
We’re ready to go. What about you?
